Swedish Meatballs

A Swedish classic that I'm sure everyone knows from IKEA (Don't skimp on the IKEA meatballs, they're actually really good! Especially for their price)

Often served with potatoes of some sorts (Mashed potatoes being the most common) and lingonberry jam on the side, with some boiled vegetables and brown sauce or cream sauce.

17th May 2023

17th May in Norway is the day we celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day

A day where people are outside with friends, family and the local community with lots of activities and store-bought overpriced first price sausages (That all goes to support local communities and activities!)

I wouldn't say theres any typical main course dish made, there are many options. If the weather is good people will barbeque. Otherwise theres plenty great options like seafoods (Norway, cough cough)

Wontons

Classic family food you make when you have lots of people over (because it takes ages to wrap each wonton. You can do it alone but its going to take time!)

Typically served with a delicious aromatic soup to go with it.
